Need A New Audi Car Key?
Have you been told to wait months for replacement Audi car keys?
Will you have to remortgage the house to get one?
Getting a replacement car key for your Audi A4, Audi Q3, or Audii S6 Saloon from the main dealer can seem an uphill struggle, not to mention the exorbitant price tag. You don’t have to wait weeks or months for a replacement car key any more. Our mobile car locksmiths carry the technology to cut a new car key within hours, not days.
All it takes is one phone call to our local car locksmiths in Ellesmere, Shropshire for a quote, and you could have a shiny new Audi car key the same day.
Audi Main Dealer
At the Audi main dealer, you’ll likely be looking at paying between £100-£400 for a new car key fob. However, we have heard stories of certain dealers asking for nearly £600 for some cars; ouch! From experience and feedback from drivers, The main dealers are never the cheapest option.
Price is also one factor to consider when going direct to the main dealer. The second factor is time. How long will it take to replace a Audi car key remote or fob? Always insist on a realistic timescale when enquiring about the cost of a replacement car key remote.
Audi Car Key Duplication
There are a few reasons why you should consider having a spare key for your Audi vehicle. First, if you choose to buy your car second-hand, it is likely to come with a single key, and if this were to be lost or stolen, you would be in a difficult situation. To avoid not having a spare car key, we highly recommend getting a duplicate key made for your Audi car. A duplicate car key will provide peace of mind, as you know you have a spare key should something happen to the original.

Brief History About Audi
Audi is a renowned German automobile maker. It has a rich and interesting history that spans over a century.
The roots of Audi can be traced back to August Horch. He was a German pioneer who founded his first company, named A. Horch & Cie, in 1899.
However, due to disagreements with his partners, Horch left his own company. In 1909 he established a new company called “August Horch Automobilwerke GmbH”.
Since Horch could not use his name for the new company due to legal reasons, so he looked for an alternative. His son suggested the Latin translation of his last name, “Horch,” which is “Audi”. In 1910 the company was officially renamed “Audi Automobilwerke GmbH Zwickau.”
Audi experienced significant success during its early years. Quickly became known for its innovative designs and advanced engineering. In 1914 Audi introduced the first left-hand drive car, revolutionising the automotive industry.
The Merger
In 1928, Audi merged with other prominent German car producers. He formed a company with DKW and Wanderer called “Auto Union AG.” The iconic four interlinked rings logo symbolises the four companies representing this union.
During the 1930s, Auto Union focused mainly on motorsports. This gave them notable success in Grand Prix racing.
The company’s race cars, known as the Auto Union Silver Arrows, were dominant on the race tracks.
However, the outbreak of World War II had a big impact on Audi. It affected the German automobile industry as a whole.
Auto Union’s factories got damaged during the war. The war leads to the company struggling to recover post-war.
VW acquisition
In the 1960s, Volkswagen Group acquired Auto Union. This acquisition included the Audi brand.
Under Volkswagen’s ownership, Audi underwent a revival. This revival saw the introduction of various innovative models. The Audi 80 and Audi 100, introduced in the 1970s, were very successful. These cars helped establish Audi as a premium car brand.
Quattro
In the 1980s, Audi made significant advancements in technology by introducing Quattro. This all-wheel-drive system provided enhanced traction and handling. The Quattro system became a hallmark of Audi’s performance. It contributed to Audi’s success in motorsports.
Audi continued to expand its line-up. It developed cutting-edge technologies throughout the following decades. The brand gained a reputation for its stylish design and engineering. Audi gave great emphasis on safety and technology features.
Today, Audi is recognised as one of the leading luxury car businesses worldwide. The company offers various vehicles, including saloons, SUVs, sports cars, and electric models. Audi remains committed to innovation and performance. While continuing to push boundaries in design and sustainable mobility.
